Forto’s Logistics Pulse Quarterly report – Q1 2026

Quarter 1, 2026

  • Apr 15, 2026

About

Q1 2026 showed that disruptions in the Red Sea and the Strait of Hormuz are not just temporary challenges. With no real return to Suez routing in sight, longer routes are becoming the new normal.

So what does that mean for you?

In this on-demand session, you will get a clear view on how these changes impact your transit times, costs, and planning and what actions you should take now to stay ahead.

Forto’s experts break down what is changing across ocean and air freight, and explain why waiting for things to “go back to normal” is no longer a strategy.

In this session

  • Economic pulse check: A look back at key economic movements from the end of 2025, and how growth signals, inflation, and sentiment may shape early 2026.
  • Sea freight outlook: How carriers adjusted to demand and network changes, and what the latest capacity and rate movements mean for ocean planning
  • Air freight market trends: Updates on demand stability, fuel-linked costs, and peak season dynamics across major trade lanes.
  • Strategic shifts: From sourcing strategy to tech investment, explore what resilient logistics planning could look like in the coming year.
  • Forto’s perspective: Learn how Forto supports customers in turning insights into action, adapting to risk, shifting market conditions, and long-term change.
