Our sustainable Sea Freight solutions

At Forto, we exclusively use International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC) or Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB) certified second-generation biofuels derived from sustainable sources. Customers receive certificates that specify the emission reductions and the use of additional sustainability products.

Three steps to your sustainable shipments

    Order placement

    Inform us of the routes you’d like to ship using biofuel. After placing your order, you can book your shipments as usual with us or any other provider.

    Fuel switch

    Our team takes care of managing the fuel switch. A certain amount of fossil fuels in a vessel is replaced with biofuel, effectively reducing your emissions.

    Impact certification

    We provide climate emission reduction certificates detailing the exact emission reduction achieved through the fuel switch, verified by independent third-party auditors.
