Today marks a significant milestone for Forto as we announce a leadership transition to guide the company into its next phase of growth and innovation.
Michael Wax, Co-Founder and CEO, is stepping down from his role and transitioning to Chairman of the Board. In this capacity, Michael will continue to support Forto’s mission, provide strategic oversight, and act as an advocate for the company’s vision. Guillaume Petit-Perrin, currently CFO, will succeed Michael as CEO. The transition has been planned and prepared by both over the past few months.

Guillaume Petit-Perrin joined Forto in 2021 after nearly two decades at J.P. Morgan, where he advised companies on capital raising, M&A, and public market strategies. At Forto, Guillaume has been a core contributor to the company’s success. He played a key role in raising Forto’s Series C and Series D funding rounds, and in shaping the company’s strategic direction. “His impact goes far beyond numbers,” Michael stated. “With his vision and leadership, Forto is in great hands for the next chapter.”
Guillaume stated: “It is an honor to take on the role of CEO at Forto. Michael’s vision and dedication have set the foundation for our success, and I am committed to building on this legacy. As we enter the next phase, we will focus on operational excellence, commercial transformation, and reigniting the entrepreneurial spirit that has defined Forto since its early days. Together, we will accelerate Forto’s lead in digital freight forwarding.”
