- Forto services 70 countries across all continents with 100 partners
- Growth focus on South America
Forto, the first European digital freight forwarder, today announces that its partner network includes 100 businesses across 70 countries. Forto’s partner network adds on the geographies Forto already serves from its own offices across Europe (Germany, Italy, Poland and The Netherlands) and Asia (China, Singapore, Vietnam).
Forto adds three American companies to its partner network
Forto added three American partners to its existing network: Total Express in Canada, Green Worldwide Shipping in the United States and Nowports in Latin America. These partners have all several offices in the region they cover and offer a wide range of services including multimodal freight, warehousing, customs clearance and cargo insurance. With these partners, Forto is looking to achieve significant growth in the region.
“What a relief to finally find a European partner that has the same digital DNA! Just like us, Forto offers cargo tracking, notifications, automatic reports and a multi access platform. But that alignment on the digital side would be nothing without the consistent competitive rates and reliable service that we get and the local expertise Forto demonstrates when it comes to customs clearance and / or trucking services,” said Werner Morello, Global Network Development Manager at Nowports.
“Our trusted partners help us respond to our customers’ demands for new routes while offering consistent quality throughout the globe. Only with the same mindset can we make each other grow and, together, bring value to our customers,” said Frank Lange, Director Global Partner Development at Forto.
Technology to enable network growth
As a leading digital freight forwarder, Forto is developing its technology for its partner to interact with its Transport Management System. Forto is also adding country tariffs to enable instant online quotes in geographies covered by partners. With these new features on board, Forto will expand its partner network in 2024.
